As a tech leader with over 20 years of experience in the SaaS and internet solutions space, who founded one of Canada’s largest cloud-based brokerage firms, Shayan is on a mission to improve the experience for real estate professionals and their clients.
He founded Rechat in 2015 to solve a universally persistent problem faced by brokerages and their agents – the need to toggle between disparate platforms to manage the various aspects of their business. Rechat is powered by AI, and includes a fully integrated marketing suite, CRM and transaction management platform. As a result, real estate professionals are able to seamlessly streamline tasks, automate listing marketing, create high-quality collateral, and track transactions from start to finish. Rechat is being embraced by leading brokerages nationwide, having doubled its client base three years in a row while achieving one of the highest adoption rates in the industry and a 95% customer satisfaction rate.
Throughout his career, Shayan has successfully taken companies from concept to product planning, development, expansion, and high growth. He excels at assembling top-tier teams, leading cross-functional and cross-cultural groups, securing substantial capital investments, and consistently exceeding projections.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Shayan finds joy in outdoor activities like biking, skiing, swimming, running, and CrossFit. His greatest happiness stems from spending time with his two children. Additionally, he has a passion for non-fiction literature, cooking, and the art of wine tasting, as a certified Level 1 Sommelier.
Fresh off Rechat’s recent win as Top Luxury Tech/Tool at the 2025 Inman Luxury Connect conference, Shayan joins us at Worthshop on Maui and will moderate The Long Game: Ultra-Luxury Development Panel, a conversation exploring the creation and marketing of today’s most ambitious luxury development projects.
