Sherry Chris was recently appointed Special Advisor to the CEO of the National Association of REALTORS®, where she builds relationships with the nation’s largest real estate companies and brands.
An 18-year veteran of Anywhere Real Estate Inc., Sherry served as Executive Advisor after leading Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate and ERA Real Estate as CEO. Earlier, she held the role of COO at Coldwell Banker Real Estate.
Her leadership extends across the industry. She chaired NAR’s Real Estate Services Advisory Group and was the first female board chair of The Realty Alliance. She is a founding corporate member of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, a member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America, and a former board member of its education foundation.
Sherry holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario.
We’re excited to welcome Sherry to WS9. Sherry Chris brings a rare combination of strategic leadership, brand vision, and deep industry engagement. She’s not only led some of real estate’s most recognizable brands, but has also helped guide the profession through moments of evolution and challenge. Her track record reflects clarity, inclusivity, and staying power, qualities we admire and need more of in today’s shifting market.
